Detailed Submission Guidelines


Authors are required to submit an Extended Abstract for initial review. Accepted contributions will be invited for presentation at the conference and may subsequently submit a Full Paper for further review and publication consideration.

1. Submission Process

Stage 1: Extended Abstract Submission

Authors must submit an Extended Abstract through the Morressier Platform before the submission deadline.

  • The work must be original and not previously published.
  • The topic must be relevant to one of the conference tracks.
  • The Extended Abstract should clearly describe the background, objectives, methodology, results, and significance of the work.
  • The manuscript must follow the official Extended Abstract Template

All submitted Extended Abstracts will undergo peer review by the Technical Program Committee.

Important Note: The Morressier platform may display the submission type as "Full Paper" by default. However, during the initial submission stage, authors are required to submit an Extended Abstract only. Extended Abstract Submission Guide

Stage 2: Acceptance Notification

Authors will be notified of the review results according to the conference schedule. Accepted Extended Abstracts will be included in the conference program subject to registration and presentation requirements.

Stage 3: Conference Registration and Presentation

At least one author of each accepted contribution must register for ESIC 2026 and present the work during the conference.

  • Only presented papers will be eligible for further publication consideration.
  • Failure to present the accepted work may result in exclusion from the publication process.

Stage 4: Full Paper Submission

Authors of accepted and presented contributions are invited to prepare and submit a Full Paper.

  • The Full Paper must be based on the accepted Extended Abstract.
  • The manuscript should provide complete technical details, experimental results, analysis, discussions, and references.
  • The paper must follow the official Full Paper template.
  • Authors are responsible for ensuring originality and proper citation of all referenced materials.

Stage 5: Full Paper Review

Submitted Full Papers will undergo a second round of peer review conducted by qualified reviewers and the Technical Program Committee.

The review process will evaluate:

  • Technical quality and scientific contribution.
  • Originality and novelty.
  • Methodological rigor and validity of results.
  • Clarity and completeness of presentation.
  • Relevance to the conference scope.

Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewer comments before a final publication recommendation is made.

Stage 6: Publication Consideration

Only Full Papers that satisfy all of the following conditions:

  • Originate from an accepted Extended Abstract;
  • Have been presented at ESIC 2026;
  • Successfully pass the Full Paper review process;
  • Comply with the formatting and publication requirements;

will be considered for submission to the IOP Conference Series.

Please note that acceptance of an Extended Abstract, conference presentation, or submission of a Full Paper does not guarantee publication.

The IOP Conference Series editorial team may conduct additional checks and evaluations in accordance with their publication policies and standards. Final publication decisions remain subject to the outcome of these evaluations and compliance with IOP publication requirements.


2. Manuscript Preparation

Authors should use the official templates available on the Download page.

  • Manuscripts must be written in clear and professional English.
  • All figures, tables, and references must be included within the manuscript.
  • Authors should carefully proofread their submissions prior to submission.
  • Submissions that do not follow the prescribed format may be returned for correction.

3. Publication Ethics

Authors must ensure that:

  • The submitted work is original and has not been previously published.
  • All co-authors have approved the submission.
  • Proper acknowledgment and citation are provided for all referenced work.
  • The manuscript does not contain plagiarism, fabricated data, or unethical research practices.

Submissions found to violate publication ethics may be rejected at any stage of the review or publication process.


4. Important Notes

  • All submissions must be made through the Morressier Platform.
  • At least one author of each accepted contribution must register and present at the conference.
  • Submission deadlines must be strictly observed.
  • The conference committee reserves the right to reject submissions that do not comply with the submission guidelines or formatting requirements.
  • The conference committee may update these guidelines when necessary.
